Results & Reach

The Battered Women’s Justice Project (BWJP) is the leader at the intersection of gender-based violence and legal systems. We advance bold solutions that center survivors, strengthen justice responses, and create lasting change in communities.

As the only national resource center on civil and criminal responses to domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking, we stay busy.

2025
Highlights

We equipped the frontlines.

We trained more advocates, attorneys, and community professionals this year than in any year in our history  — thousands of people across dozens of communities — giving them practical tools to support survivors with skill and compassion. We also helped local agencies build stronger emergency response plans for the moments when the risk of violence spikes and help is hardest to find.
