BWJP’s Director of Policy Initiatives, Kristine Lizdas, has been appointed to the Committee for Equality and Justice (CEJ) of the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
The CEJ is was established to serve as an advisory committee to Minnesota’s Judicial Council. The mission of the CEJ is to work collaboratively across the Judicial Branch to advance efforts to eliminate bias from court operations, promote equal access to the court, and inspire a high level of trust and public confidence in the Minnesota Judicial Branch. Kristine is excited to serve on the committee and identify opportunities to apply BWJP’s expertise in Institutional Assessment and survivor-centered design at the state and local levels to improve court processes, procedures and policies for all survivors of Intimate Partner Violence.
