Meet Esther:

Q: What brought you into the field of gender-based violence?

I provided direct services to survivors of domestic violence in final restraining order trials, custody/PT hearings, and child support matters. I saw up close and personal the gaps in the law and the ways that the court processes could be harmful to survivors.

Q: What drew you to BWJP?

BWJP is survivor centered and specifically works to address those gaps that I often saw in my work with survivors of GBV.

Q: What are you most looking forward to working at BWJP?

I am most looking forward to getting to know the BWJP team and learning how we can collaborate!

Q: How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

I am very passionate about spending time with my daughter, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, and reading a good book!
