Q: What brought you into the field of gender-based violence?

  • I started working in the field of gender-based violence 10 years ago as a legal advocate. I was drawn to the opportunity to provide life-saving information and support to survivors navigating the legal system, often unrepresented. I witnessed the barriers and challenges that they encountered and have since maintained a strong desire to create systemic change that is responsive and safety focused.

Q: What drew you to BWJP?

  • I was drawn to BWJP’s mission and the opportunity to be apart of innovative approaches that center survivors and their children.

Q: What are you most looking forward to working at BWJP?

  • I am looking forward to working with smart, passionate individuals who are focused on the same goal, which is ending gender-based violence.

Q: How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

  • I love spending time on our family farm with my spouse and two children. It is wonderful to watch them learn and develop an appreciation for animals and agriculture.
