Offender Intervention
Prosecutors and judges may have the most obvious role in holding gender-based violence offenders accountable, but the most effective way to uphold survivor safety is for the entire system—courts, judiciary systems, law enforcement, researchers, and community agencies—to work together. It’s also important to address racial, cultural, and identity-based marginalization that creates disparities in survivor safety.
