Combatting Cyberviolence Against Women and Girls: Understanding its Origin and Impact on Survivors

This webinar provides an overview of how sexual violence manifests in cyberspace (e.g., non-consensual distribution of pornography, sextortion). Discussion emphasizes how these offenses occur within a broader abusive relationship, but also address stranger-perpetrated events. Finally, the impact of these offenses on primary and secondary survivors as well as what service personnel can do to assist survivors is discussed.
