Coordinated Community Response Report

Published by: Sujata Warrier (Chief Strategy Officer), and Kristine Lizdas (Legal Policy Director)

At its core, a Coordinated Community Response to Domestic Violence (CCR) places the responsibility of preventing or stopping domestic violence on the community as a whole. CCRs represent the notion that victims of violence should not be made responsible for the behavior of their abusers, but rather, that communities are responsible for keeping their members safe.

This report was supported by grant No. 2016-TA-AX-K048 awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice.
